If you’re desperate to know how to complete the Season 8 Week 6 Fortnite challenges, here are some handy guides that will help you earn those Battle Stars.
How to complete the Fortnite Season 8 Week 6 Challenges
Discovery Challenges
Unsurprisingly, Fortnite’s Discovery Challenges continue to rumble on throughout Season 8, and Week 6 will see players on the lookout for a secret banner rather than a hidden Battle Star.
Fortnite fans need to use the Week 6 loading screen to find the hidden banner, which can be unlocked when all seven weekly challenges have been completed, but if you’re struggling to find the banner, you can use our handy guide to save yourself from the hunt.
Visit a wooden rabbit, a stone pig and a metal llama [5]
This challenge will require Fortnite fans to head to three separate locations to earn their Battle Stars, as they will need to visit three structures in the shape of animals to complete it.

These structures are separated out across the Fortnite map, with the wooden rabbit sitting above Snobby Shores, the stone pig on a hill beside Lucky Landing, and the giant metal llama at the very top of the map just north of Junk Junction.
Visit the 5 highest elevations on the island [5]
Hopefully you’re not afraid of heights, as Fortnite players will be visiting the five highest peaks on the Fortnite map.
These are spread out across the map, but our handy guide will help you find the spots with the greatest elevation on the map with ease.
Eliminate three opponents at Lazy Lagoon or Frosty Flights [10]
Expect these two locations to get busier over the next few days, as players will start dropping here in the hopes of finding the three eliminations they need to complete this challenge.
Simply land at either Lazy Lagoon in the north of the island, or Frosty Flights in the southwest, and start searching for enemies to kill.
Stage 1: Land at Fatal Fields [1]
This week’s Staged challenge will see players landing at different locations. There are five named places that you’ll have to visit immediately after you jump out of the Battle Bus, and they must be completed in the correct order to receive the reward. You can read the full five stages below.
- Land at Fatal Fields
- Land at Lazy Lagoon
- Land at Shifty Shafts
- Land at Frosty Flights
- Land at Sunny Steps
Search where the knife points on the Treasure Map loading screen [5]
Fortnite fans will be forced to pull out the Treasure Map loading screen again, and this time head to the location at which the knife is pointing on the map. Finding the location may prove tricky, but we have a full guide that will help you get there.
Get an elimination with a Flint-Knock Pistol or a Boom Bow [10]
Another straightforward challenge, players will need to get their hands on one of Fortnite’s two newest weapons, the Flint-Knock Pistol or the Boom Bow. Once you find one, take down an enemy and eliminate them to secure this challenge.
Use two different throwable items in a single match [10]
This one will require some searching, as players will need to find two different throwable items and use them in a single game. These can include Stink Bombs and Boogie Bombs, so as soon as you find one, throw it. They don’t even have to hit another opponent, so don’t worry about holding on to them until you see an enemy player.
