Fortnite players in the United States are considering a move to Europe after devs announced the game’s return to iPhone in the EU region.
With the rejection of appeals by the Supreme Court earlier this month, the legal battle between Epic Games and Apple came to a close in the United States. On top of that, Apple demanded Epic pay them $73 million in compensation for civil damages.
That being said, Fortnite’s Item Shop offered their savage response against the tech giant. Although Epic Games had previously prevailed in a legal dispute with Google, they were disappointed not to have achieved the same result with Apple.
Less than a week following the US case ruling, Apple has amended its policies for the European market to meet DMA regulations, allowing third-party developers to sideload apps and external stores on iOS devices. Eager to seize the chance, Epic has just revealed that Fortnite will be returning to iOS devices in Europe in 2024 and asked users to stay tuned for more details.
Now that Fortnite is almost back on iPhone and iPad in EU regions, players in the US are thinking about making a move to Europe.

They ended their statement by firing back at Apple saying, “The world is watching” and attached a Peely gif doing a similar action. While European users are thrilled about Fortnite’s return on iPhones, US players are planning to make a move to Europe altogether to experience the same.
One such user said, “Moving to the UK rn.” Another chimed in, “If VPN doesn’t work I’ll literally fly to England and buy an iPad LMAO.” A third user applied their critical thinking and asked, “If I ‘travel’ to Europe can we install and then play in the US?”
Regardless, several users who are excited about the return also turned in their thoughts with one player saying, “Finally something useful for my 15 pro max.” Another player believes this is “the biggest W of the year” as this move will “help with player count.”
