This is a guide for anyone who wants to turbo-charge their Fortnite level without glitching or doing anything you’d need to hide from the Fortnite police.

Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1 has transported players to an ancient Japanese Samurai map, while Fortnite OG has been made permanent taking fans back to Chapter 1 Season 1.

This means there are now two distinct Battle Royale maps to compete on, each mode featuring their own Battle Pass— the main Hunters Battle Pass and the Fortnite OG Battle Pass—along with exclusive quests to complete.

In this guide, I’ll show you how to climb 50 levels in less than a day, while having a blast doing it.

Best method to level up fast in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1

This season has returned the Kinetic Blade to Fortnite.

If you want to level up quickly in Chapter 6 Season 1, here’s a simple strategy that helped me jump over 30 levels in just a few hours.

  1. Next, hop into Battle Royale, take down the four different types of bosses, and aim for mythic weapons. Depending on how well the games go, this can take about one hour or one hour and a half to gain 6-7 levels.
  2. Daily, Weekly, and Story quests also give a lot of XP, as do Milestones. Completing a full week of quests should take about an hour and a half.
  3. Complete your daily quests in Fortnite Festival, Reload, and Rocket Racing – remember, experience is shared now,
  4. If you’re multitasking, use LEGO Fortnite in AFK mode – just move your mouse every 15 minutes to avoid getting kicked.
  5. Playing creative maps can also earn you a lot of XP. I’ve really been enjoying First Person Parkour 600+ (3367-8643-7975) and Go Goated! Zone Wars (3305-1551-7747). If you’d prefer sticking to official modes, try Rocket Racing or Fortnite Reload. Playing for 30 minutes to an hour will help you make solid progress toward leveling up.

Altogether, this method helps you earn levels fast without grinding too hard. You can switch from one to the other to avoid getting burned out.

Alternative methods to level up in Fortnite

If this strategy isn’t enough for you, here is every other way in which you can get XP:

1. Complete Daily, Weekly, and Story Quests

Look out for new quests to complete every Tuesday.

Fortnite is bursting with more quests than ever this season, including Daily, Weekly, Story, and a variety of bonus challenges to tackle—such as the all-new Chapter 1 Greatest Hits.

Every Tuesday, the game adds new Weekly challenges that range from easy tasks like collecting ammo or dealing damage with a certain weapon to harder ones like finding hidden items around the Island.

Each quest rewards a substantial chunk of XP, making them the best way to quickly level up your Battle Pass. To stay on track, aim to complete them all every week. In the meantime, you’ll have three new Daily Quests waiting each day you log in, along with plenty of seasonal challenges to keep you busy.

2. Use Party Assist to complete challenges faster

Double the players means double the XP.

One of the most useful features of Fortnite is the Party Assist function. If you play with friends in Duos, Trios, or, best of all, Squads, any progress you make toward completing qualifying quests will be shared between all players on the team.

This is especially handy when tackling challenges with multiple tiers. For example, if a quest asks you to land 25 headshots in total, that could take you a quarter of the time it normally would if your entire squad is aiming for headshots.

3. Earn Fortnite Milestones and Accolades

Despite Fortnite removing Milestones from the main Battle Royale and Zero Build modes, players can still work toward season-long Milestone goals in Fortnite OG. At the same time, individual match tasks, known as Accolades, remain available and can be earned in any main BR and OG mode.

Both of these contain typically menial tasks like driving a certain distance, destroying items, or being the first to pickup a particular weapon, so they’re pretty simple. As a result, you’ll probably tick them off without even realizing it during regular everyday play, but it does help to know what they are.

Fortunately, you can view all of your Milestones in the main Quests menu, and all of the different types of Accolades in the Collections section of the Quests tab.

Both of these challenges require you to use different weapons or items, so it’s worth switching it up every now and then (even if that does mean trading your powerful shotgun for a pistol).

4. Grind through Expertise tiers

Expertise Quests in Fortnite reward players for playing with certain weapons.

A great way to earn XP in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1 is by progressing through the new Expertise tiers, exclusive to Battle Royale and Zero Build modes. These tiers cover four weapon categories: Assault Rifle, Shotgun, SMG, and Mask, each with five stages offering 25,000 XP per stage.

These quests will take longer than usual, with Stage 1 requiring you to deal between 7,500 to 12,500 damage to players, depending on the weapon. Completing all 20 stages rewards up to 500,000 XP and unlocks weapons and services from NPCs across the map.

While each stage must be completed to unlock the next, our Fortnite quests hub provides a full list of every Expertise quest and the characters rewards you can get.

5. Level up in Creative, Save The World, and other modes

Fortnite players can also level up across three extra game modes, such as LEGO Fortnite.

Believe it or not, you can gain easy XP in Fortnite by spending time in Creative Mode or playing Save The World. This is ideal if you’re bored of the regular Battle Royale action or you’ve completed all of your Weekly Quests.

Even better, there is three extra games within Fortnite – Rocket Racing, LEGO Fortnite, and Festival, each of which contributes to your Battle Pass XP as they have their own set of quests. Complete each quest across these modes to gain XP or a level-up token.

6. Purchase Battle Pass levels

No one wants to purchase Battle Pass levels in Fortnite – and you should be able to level up easily enough using the other methods on this list – but there’s no denying that this is the quickest way to level up in just a few seconds.

Each Battle Pass level costs 150 V-Bucks to level up for the Battle Pass for Chapter 6 Season 1 and Fortnite OG. You can purchase 25 levels at once for just 1,800 V-Bucks, usually 3,750, but any more after that will cost the standard price of 150 V-Bucks. Beyond the bundle, additional levels cost 150 V-Bucks each, with a seasonal limit of 100 purchasable levels.

7. Get a Fortnite Victory Royale!

Getting a Victory Royale will earn you XP.

While this may seem obvious, one of the easiest ways to earn XP in Fortnite is to do well in the traditional Battle Royale mode.

You’ll be awarded a small amount of XP for every elimination you dish out up until a certain number, with stacking bonuses on offer, and you’ll earn progressively more XP for every Storm cycle you survive.

You’ll also get a specific amount of XP, depending on which position you finish at. Naturally, you’ll get the most XP for coming first and scoring a coveted Victory Royale, so practice, practice, practice, and that all-precious XP will be yours.

How much XP can you get in a day?

While Fortnite’s XP system hasn’t been reduced, the ways to earn XP have expanded significantly with the introduction of Fortnite OG and new LEGO Fortnite modes like Brick Life. Thanks to these additions, players can now earn XP across a wider variety of activities and modes.

If you max out the XP caps in every mode, it’s possible to earn up to an impressive 2 million XP in a single day. Let’s break down the key sources of XP:

  • LEGO Fortnite: Now cranking out 29,000 XP every 10 minutes, up to 2.5 hours a day, for a whopping 435,000 XP total. That’s about 5-6 levels just from LEGO.
  • Fortnite Reload: 60,000 XP every 15 minutes, also for 2.5 hours, maxing at 600,000 XP. It’s the next best option if you need a LEGO break.
  • Battle Royale, Zero Build, and Fortnite OG: 24,000 XP every 15 minutes for a 2.5-hour cap, giving 240,000 XP. Solid, but clearly a side dish in this XP feast.
  • Festival: 4,000 XP every 10 minutes, up to 80,000 XP per day. Yup, that’s it. Epic might as well label this one “for the vibes only.”
  • Save the World: 448,000 XP per day, or about 5.5 levels.
  • Creative Mode: Up to 560,000 XP, but the gains slow over time.

Add in daily quests, Discover, and Rocket Racing, and any bonus content on offer and you’ve got a monster XP haul available every day.
