Fortnite Season X is set to introduce a new Starter Pack called “Red Strike” according to several leakers and a first look has been revealed.
Starter Packs are a good way for Fortnite players to spend a couple of dollars to get access to new cosmetics and a small amount of V-Bucks.
These packs generally cost no more than $4.99 so they’re an excellent choice for many players who don’t like to spend a whole lot of money on the game. FNBRLeaks gave us our first look at the style of the new skin.

While we know what it looks like, we don’t know exactly what’s included in the pack, at least we didn’t until Shiina revealed it.
According to another leak, this pack will include an outfit, back bling, and 600 V-Bucks. It doesn’t sound like a harvesting tool will be included this time around which might be a bit disappointing.

One thing that wasn’t mentioned was the price but it should cost the same as any other pack before it.
We don’t yet know when the pack will release but considering it’s already in the files, it won’t be unavailable for long. It will join the long list of Starter Packs that have already been released into the game.
If we had to guess, the pack would become available with patch 10.10. Epic Games hasn’t reveal the start time for that update but we know it’ll be before August 16, at the absolute latest.
Patches usually come through in the middle of the week so Friday or beyond would be a strange move from Epic.
On top of the Starter Pack, we can probably expect some other new content such as a weapon or location.
The theme of this season has been time travel with the return of Dusty Depot and now Tilted Town, so it’ll be interesting to see what Epic cooks up next.
