v7.40 Fortnite patch includes some major changes to the popular battle royale title, including balancing updates for weapons like the Hand Cannon and the Rocket Launcher, along with an opportunity for Fortnite fans to get their hands on the Season 8 Battle Pass for free.

With a new update for the game, it’s widely expected that data miners will begin searching through the file in hopes of catching a glimpse of the secrets hidden inside the file.

Data miners can find clues to upcoming in-game events or new weapons, and can also give fans an early look at the cosmetic items that are expected to be added to the Item Shop over the next few days.

It seems that Fortnite fans will have plenty of new items to feast their eyes on, as new skins, harvesting tools and sprays have been discovered, alongside brand new styles for the Ice Queen skin.
