Live events are some of the most memorable updates for Fortnite, giving players a chance to experience limited-time celebrations of various types together for a short window, often with several earnable rewards for participation.
While no live events have taken place so far in Chapter 6 Season 1, the battle royale’s current season isn’t scheduled to end until late February, meaning there’s still plenty of time for Epic to deliver some surprises over the next two months.

Next Fortnite live event date and time
Epic Games hasn’t confirmed when the next Fortnite live event will take place. Many suspect Chapter 6 Season 1 will play host to a showdown between Godzilla and King Kong on January 14, though this remains unconfirmed.
When was the last Fortnite live event?
The last Fortnite live event, Remix: The Finale, took place on November 30, 2024, at 11 AM PST / 2 PM ET / 7 PM GMT. The event was featured in both Battle Royale and Zero Build modes.
As part of the event, players were able to claim the Slayer Juice WRLD skin and bundle for free by logging into Fortnite between November 25 at 9 AM ET and November 30 at 10 PM ET.

How to watch a Fortnite live event?
To join a Fortnite live event, ensure you’re in a Battle Royale or Zero Build match at the event’s specified start time and date.
While some events are made available as single-time experiences, Epic has revealed that The Finale event will only be able to be watched on two separate occasions between November 30 and December 1.
