Fortnite: Battle Royale players have been attempting to create a solid ‘Ranked Mode’ format ever since the game was released.
Especially since Epic Games revealed that they will be giving $100 million in prize money between 2018 and 2019 for various tournaments, community members have constantly debated the competitive side of the game and how it should be played.
While tournaments are held almost every weekend, some have requested that Epic Games add a ‘Ranked Mode’ where players can go up against those with a similar or equal skill-level based on a variety of factors.
Krashy, a Fortnite YouTuber, created a system where players would earn points in a Ranked Mode that would not rely too heavily on any one category but would be a collection of different in-game actions.
The system would ‘leave a lot of room’ for players to compete in a way which suits their playstyle, rather than adhere to a strict method.

Even if a competitor does not finish with a Victory Royale, their ability to potentially gather a substantial amount of kills could allow them to still gain points towards their rank in the future.
