It looks like Team Liquid’s Jake ‘Poach’ Brumleve is no longer the Fortnite Battle Royale player to have earned the most amount of money from competitions.
According to Esports Earnings, the North American star has officially been dethroned Ghost Gaming’s Timothy ‘Bizzle’ Miller, who has amassed just under $300,000 despite the game being only a year old.
Bizzle has been a consistent performer in the Summer Skirmish and Fall Skirmish series’, finishing in second place at the PAX West Summer Skirmish finals and a number of other online competitions.
Despite never winning a week of the skirmish, his ability to always finish near the top has seen him surpass some of his more inconsistent colleagues.
Poach is still in contention for the top spot with his $277,975 of earnings being enough to keep him ahead of third place Austin ‘Morgausse’ Etue, the winner of the Summer Skirmish Series finals at PAX West.

Interestingly, Morgausse’s $250,000 for winning that particular event makes up the entirety of the prize money that the young player has made in his career so far.
The rest of the top ten is a who’s who of Fortnite stars, with Liquid’s 72hrs and Vivid, FaZe Clan’s Nate Hill and Tfue, and NRG’s Zayt all making appearances with well over $100,000 earned.
The full top ten breakdown, as of October 1, is as follows:
