Perhaps the most popular Fortnite leaker, HYPEX, has been banned on Twitter.
With every major Fortnite update, we can count on HYPEX to give us all of the hidden information found in the files about upcoming content.
However, it looks like all of that is coming to an end after fans discovered on September 5 that his account has been suspended for violating Twitter rules.
The ban seemingly came without warning and according to HYPEX’s alt account, he says it came from someone reporting him and saying he faked a giveaway.
“Alright so, my main account @HYPEX got suspended with 200k followers because of a guy abusing the report system saying that I faked a giveaway, but if @TwitterSupport review my DMs they will see that I DMed every winner EVERYTIME!”

A YouTuber with over 13,000 subscribers named Harley announced they were delaying their giveaway because of what happened to HYPEX.
“Guys I have decided to take down my giveaway for now,” said Harley. “I don’t know what is happening but everyone is being suspended. TJCobainx and HYPEX have just been suspended and I don’t want it to happen to me.”

At the time of the ban, HYPEX was closing in on 200,000 Twitter followers, which made him easily the most popular leaker on the platform.

This isn’t the first time leakers have run into trouble on Twitter as in December 2018, the popular account FNBRLeaks were ordered by Epic Games to delete their account. The account is still active so it appears some sort of deal was struck.
Dexerto will keep you updated once more information becomes available regarding HYPEX’s banning and if there’s a chance his account will be reinstated.
