Are you wondering what the new The Squabble Emote is referring to? Here’s everything you need to know about the viral TikTok dance behind Fortnite’s new Emote and how you can get it.
Fortnite is no stranger to adding Emotes and cosmetics inspired by viral TikTok dance and music trends.
Ever since Marshmello’s debut in Fortnite, Epic has had some major music collaborations with some of the world’s biggest artists. This includes Travis Scott, Eminem, and even Lady Gaga who headlined Season 2 of the new music Festival mode.
Now, the developers have added The Squabble Emote to Fortnite. However, this has led many to question what the viral TikTok dance is, what the song being used is, and how to get the Emote. Here’s all the answers.
What is The Squabble dance Emote in Fortnite?
The Squabble is one of Fortnite’s many dance Emotes and was newly added to the game on February 28, 2024.
The viral dance is also known as the “Left, Do It, Right, Do It” dance. It became a popular trend on TikTok after NFL football players C.J. Stroud and Chris Olave performed the dance as a touchdown celebration in September 2023.
To perform the dance, participants alternate steps with their feet, while raising their arms and moving them to the left and then right. The simplistic nature of the dance has made it easy to replicate.
Epic promoted the launch of the Emote across their socials, which features an un-released skin performing the viral dance at Snooty Steppes. But, what is that song that inspired the viral TikTok dance?
