Fortnite Season OG is finally entering its ending stages as Chapter 4 draws to a close, but when does it actually end? And when does Chapter 5 begin? Here’s everything you need to know.
Fortnite Chapter 4 Season OG instantly smashed its highest all-time player count of over 44 million players in just one day when it dropped on November 3.
The Chapter 1 focused update from Epic Games brought new and old returning players back to relive the nostalgia of the original game. It added the Battle Royale’s original map complete with old fan-favorite POIs, weapons, cosmetics, and more.
Despite Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4 ending on November 3, 2023, lasting for 71 days, Season OG will become one of the shortest seasons in Fortnite’s history and will last around just a month.
Epic Games have officially revealed when Chapter 4 Season OG will end with The Big Bang event, as the game goes into its typical downtime period, before Chapter 5 begins with all-new changes.
Here is everything you need to know about when Chapter 4 Season OG will end and Chapter 5 begins.

Will Fortnite Season OG return?
The developers have not confirmed that Fortnite’s Season OG would be returning so far, but it wouldn’t be a surprise if it did in some way due to its record-breaking popularity.
Various fans have suspected it may return as its own Fortnite OG playlist, similar to Zero Build in its own standalone mode, but nothing has been teased or announced.
Epic also does have a history of starting fresh with new season and chapter updates, but given its success, it will certainly be interesting to see how it impacts the future state of Fortnite.
