Skull and Bones is the new pirate-themed game from Ubisoft and its open world allows players to explore it as they please. However, its vastness can make it quite overwhelming. So, to help you locate yourself in the space, here are all the regions included in the Skull and Bones map.
Ubisoft’s newest title is inspired by Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag and it invites players to become the best pirates of the Indian Ocean. To do so, they must battle other pirates in immersive naval combat to decide who is the ultimate ruler of the High Seas.
However, Skull and Bones can be quite overwhelming, as it has a massive map with 625 square kilometers to sail through. For those who like to compare, Ubisoft’s previous launch, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, had about 255 square kilometers and it was already massive.
If you’re not good with space and directions, getting to know a little bit about how the game‘s map is distributed might help you relax. So, here are all the regions you can explore in Skull and Bones.

Every map region available in Skull and Bones
The 625 square kilometers are divided into five big groups, outlined by thin black lines, that can be unlocked through progression and exploration in Skull and Bones. Despite everyone starting their journey in one region, players then can continue their adventures wherever they like.
The Red Isle
After getting through the tutorial, all players start their journey on the Red Isle, which is the central region of the map. It’s the smallest one of them all and resembles the island of Madagascar.
This region works as the middle ground for the trades that happen between the East and West. Sainte Anne is the local Pirate Den and its military base is Fort du Lys. Its territory contains 3 main factions, 8 outposts, and 10 settlements.
Factions:
