Lune Build (3)Dexerto

Lune is one of the most tactical characters in Clair Obscur Expedition 33. She’s a measured spellcaster who manipulates the battlefield with elemental control, healing magic, and stain-based synergy.

She doesn’t lead with raw force. Instead, she quietly sets up devastating effects and supports her allies with calm precision. Her one flaw, though, is that unless built correctly, her Stain charges can take forever, often costing you a battle.

Here’s how you can best build Lune to make the most out of her kit in Expedition 33.

How to play Lune

Lune Build (3)Dexerto

Lune is a flexible elemental caster. Each time Lune uses an elemental skill like Fire, Ice, Lightning, Earth, or Light, a corresponding Stain is created.

These Stains can be consumed to boost the effects of other abilities, dealing extra damage or applying status effects like Burn or Slow. To play Lune effectively, alternate between elements, generating and consuming Stains in a sequence to maximize her damage.

Her skills can also heal and revive allies, making her crucial in both offense and support roles.

Best Attributes for Lune

Lune works best when built for survivability and control. Her damage and utility scale over time, so keep her safe while she sets the tempo.

  • Agility: Boost how often she gets to participate in the battle. If you want to get all those stains, make this as often as possible.
  • Might: We want Lune to play often, but we also don’t want those unboosted casts to deal zero damage.
  • Vitality: Enhances her HP pool and overall resilience, especially important early game.

If you want a comprehensive list of the best attributes in general, we’ve got you covered.
