XDefiant’s MP7 is a lethal submachine gun that can shred with the right class loadout. Here, we’re going to show you the best MP7 build in XDefiant and other classes for damage and low recoil.
The MP7 is a weapon in XDefiant that comes with a high rate of fire, making it ideal for quick kills in close-range gunfights. It also has the best mobility out of the other SMGs in the game, and its accuracy stands out from the rest. That’s why we have it quite high on our weapons tier list.
These aspects naturally make the MP7 a go-to choice while playing in compact maps like Arena, Emporium, Echelon HQ, and more. Gunfights in these maps are mostly close-quarter, however, with the right attachments, it can prove to be viable at medium ranges too.
So, here’s the best MP7 loadout with the fastest TTK you can use in XDefiant to get the better of enemies.
Best MP7 build XDefiant – Recommended loadout
Use these attachments in the MP7 to make it a monster for close to medium-range combat:
- Muzzle: Light Suppressor
- Barrel: Chrome Lined
- Front Rail: PEQ-15
- Magazine: Fast Mag
- Stock: Collapsed
The Light Suppressor Muzzle and Chrome Lined Barrel combination increases the MP7’s firepower by 20% for both short and medium ranges, while also enhancing minimap visibility range and duration.
PEQ-15 Front Rail increases minimum and maximum bullet spread accuracy by 40% while hipfiring, making shooting from the hip more viable up close.
Fast Mag allows you to keep 5 more bullets in the magazine while increasing reload speed by 40%. The Collapsed stock increases movement speed by 5% but comes at a cost of reduced bullet spread accuracy by 10%.
Best MP7 loadout for low recoil
As with any SMG build, don’t expect to laser opposition across the map. However, the following setup will help make your MP7 shoot a little bit straighter at a distance:
- Muzzle: Barrel Extender
- Barrel: Stabilizing
- Front Rail: Tactical Grip
- Rear Grip: Heavy Grip
- Stock: Padded Stock
The combo of the Barrel Extender and Stabilizing Barrel help increase the MP7’s firepower and improve its horizontal and vertical recoil control.

The Tactical Grip is a massive aid for the SMG, as it gives it a wealthy recoil recovery boost. Meanwhile, the Heavy Grip gives a moderate recoil control boost, while adding ADS Flinch control in case your enemy is shooting back. Finally, the Padded Stock provides a huge accuracy buff to recoil recovery, ADS stability, and ADS Flinch Control.
The best secondary option would be the D50, as range won’t stop the Desert Eagle from inflicting massive pain on enemies.
To complete this MP7 loadout, equip a Frag Grenade to clear out objectives or soften foes at a range before you clean them up with the MP7.
Best MP7 loadout for high damage
The MP7 is arguably one of the best SMGs in the game, and the following build will optimize its firepower while boosting movement speeds so you can shred lobbies.
- Muzzle: Barrel Extender
- Barrel: Chrome Lined
- Front Rail: Tactical Grip
- Rear Grip: Quick Draw Grip
- Stock: Collapsed Stock
Building off our recommended attachment build, equipping the Barrel Extender and Chrome Lined barrel are imperative as they increase the MP7’s firepower by a large margin in close to mid-range engagements, which is ideally what you’d use the weapon for.
Equipping the Tactical and Quick Draw Grips also are key, as the former helps with recoil recovery and the latter lets you draw your weapon faster, keeping you ready for a fight. Finally, the Collapsed Stock provides a nice 5% movement speed buff, making you an agile menace.
For your secondary weapon, use the D50, the iconic Desert Eagle that boosts a hefty punch if you hit your shots. Pair this with a Frag Grenade for an explosive package for your enemies.
How to unlock the MP7 in XDefiant
To unlock the MP7 in XDefiant, you need to get 20 point-blank kills using SMGs (within 5m). Unlike the MP5A2, it doesn’t come pre-unlocked and you need to complete this base challenge to get the SMG.
