Nightingale is Inflexion Games’ brand-new title with survival and crafting elements, but can you play the game offline? Here’s everything you need to know.

Nightingale is set for an early access release on February 20, 2024, and the game brings a unique twist to survival games many know and love. Players get to explore a rich Victorian environment with a gaslamp setting where they must venture through portals to unravel the story’s mystery.

While other popular survival games like Minecraft, Palworld, and Enshrouded allow you to play their titles offline, players might wonder if they can do the same with Nightingale. If you have the same question, we have the answer right here.

Is it possible to play Nightingale offline?

Unfortunately, at early access launch, Nightingale cannot be played offline as it’s going be an online-only experience, even if you’re playing solo.

According to Inflexion Games’ Developer Update video, the devs will provide “official dedicated servers, powering up the Realms so that you and your friends can play asynchronously if you set your Respite Realm to the same place.”

Respite Realm is basically your spawn point. Nightingale having dedicated official servers at early access launch means once you’ve set a Respite point, anyone can play in the server at any time they want, regardless of who is online, unlike Sons of the Forest.
