In a follow up tweet, CD Projekt Red noted that their plans were to deliver the Cyberpunk 2077 single experience in April of 2020, then follow up with free DLC and single-player content, and then implement multiplayer.
The reaction to the inclusion of multiplayer to once what was considered an exclusively single player experience has been mixed, with some expressing interest in how either co-op or PVP could be implemented, and others expressing concerns that multiplayer reduces the quality of the single player experience.
Earlier this week, CD Projekt Red also confirmed that cutscenes would only be shot in first-person, essentially confirming that third-person won’t be in the game.
