FaZe Banks has started his FaZe Clan takeover by kicking out long-term members of the organization and cutting down the number of creators to 14.
Clan members have been taking to YouTube and X (formerly Twitter) to announce they have been “kicked” from the organization after Banks announced a “reboot”.
Many of these creators had been part of the organization for several years, some even dating back to the clan’s inception.
As more content creators started announcing their departure from FaZe Clan, Banks addressed the situation on X and admitted he was “ok with being the bad guy.”
He explained, “One of FaZe’s biggest issues has been how separated everyone’s been in terms of vision, value, type of content, direction career is headed. And all I can really say is, we feel like it’s important to be very clear-cut about who’s actively representing the brand the way we want it to be represented.”
Banks went on to say that the FaZe Clan has been “all over the place,” with creators acting like “greedy pigs”. By cutting down members and rebooting the organization, Banks shared that the group would “outlive any one person that wears the name.”
Among the chaos, Banks also posted to the official FaZe Clan X account for the first time since March 4. This included a new digitized FaZe Clan logo, as well as a short clip showcasing the organization “deleting” old members.

FaZe has already started recruiting new members, starting with Max, with four in total expected.
