The full list of winners and nominees at The Game Awards 2019 have been announced, with Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice and breakout title Disco Elysium leading the way at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on December 12.
With the most prestigious developers around the world converging on Los Angeles to celebrate the past 12 months in gaming and share a glimpse of the future, The Game Awards serves as one of the most important events each calendar year.
The show kicked off from 5.30pm PST (7.30pm CST, 1.30am GMT, 12.30pm AEDT), with gaming and esports fans tuning in to the celebration of the industry with livestreams on Twitch, YouTube, Mixer, and Facebook Live. A number of Cinemark cinemas are also showed the awards across the United States, and Virtual Reality users were able to access a VR stream through Oculus Venues.
A total of 29 awards were handed out across categories like Game of the Year, Content Creator of the Year, and a host of genres like Action/Adventure, Mobile, Multiplayer, and more. We’ve got the roundup of all winners below.
