According to Activeplayer, as of January 2025, Genshin Impact has had an average of 64,107,565 players in the last 30 days.
Regardless of some dips in numbers throughout 2024, Genshin Impact maintained over 60 million monthly players for the majority of the year only dropping below this in summertime which we’ve evidenced in the graph below.

In comparison to other gacha titles, Genshin has a huge player base. While Honkai Star Rail holds an average of 3 million players right now, it pales when compared to Genshin Impact’s 60 mil.

One of the biggest gacha games released in 2024 was Solo Leveling: Arise, based on the popular anime of the same name. However, Genshin is massively ahead of Arise regarding player count at the time of writing.
