Guild Wars 2 continues to be a successful MMO despite being over a decade old, and the classic MMORPG still has a strong player count in 2025.
It’s no secret that the MMORPG space is competitive, with many enjoying the likes of Elder Scrolls Online, Lost Ark, and World of Warcraft. However, with so many MMOs out there, the likes of Guild Wars 2 can easily get forgotten.
Luckily, when looking at the population tracker, it’s clear this game is very much alive.
Daily player count
As of January 2025, it’s estimated that around 83,890 have logged into Guild Wars 2 every day recently according to MMO Population.
Note that “players and daily login numbers are estimations based on subscriber numbers and online sentiment.” It’s worth remembering that these are just estimates, as no official count has been released for the game.
