How to get Gems in Nightingale

Gems are valuable materials in Nightingale that you need to craft Glass. Here is how you can get access to Gems in the game.

Nightingale is a survival game, but crafting is an essential part of its gameplay loop. However, if you want to craft something, you also need to collect raw materials before that. Collecting raw materials is easy, but it takes some extra work to get them.

One such material you can craft in the game is Glass. This material is required to craft Alchemical Ink which is used to craft Realm cards. However, Glass also needs to be crafted and it requires Gems to do that.

Nightingale: How to get Gems

Gems in Nightingale can be collected through mining. You first need access to a Simple Mining Pick before you can set out on your journey. Once you have this item, it is time to explore and look for massive crystal formations.

These crystal formations can be found attached to rocks near cliffs of mountains. Once you locate one, collect the Gems and bring them to your base. You can then put these Gems in the Simple Smelter and craft Glass in return.

You will need two pieces of Gems to craft one piece of Glass. You should also remember that the Simple Smelter needs to be set up and you can purchase the recipe from Essence Traders. You will need Essence Dust for this which is quite easy to farm in the game.
