Kai Cenat and IShowSpeed have completed their latest streaming challenge, beating a Super Mario Bros. game in one sitting after 35 gruelling hours and 892 in-game deaths.

The pair went live on June 25 to take on New Super Mario Bros Wii, completing the game from start to finish without breaks. Although some fans believed they would play the full Mario series, Kai shut that down before the stream began.

“There’s one game that we are doing, and then we’re going to see how y’all like it, alright? Doing the entire [series] is crazy.”

Another marathon for the history books

You can see the final moments of the marathon in the clip below, with a showing of pure elation from the two streaming superstars.

They have made a name for themselves with their viral, high-stakes marathons. In December 2024, they went live for a Fortnite challenge, promising not to stop until they secured a Victory Royale. The stream lasted nearly two full days, before they finally won on their 80th match.

Their Minecraft marathon attracted millions of viewers.

One of their most memorable collaborations came in July 2024, when they streamed a full run of Chained Together while literally chained to each other. The stream lasted over 12 hours and saw the two battle frustrating jumps, high-stakes platforming, and each other.

The game was completed with an in-game time of just over 11 hours, and the stream quickly went viral thanks to their chaotic chemistry and constant setbacks.

They’ve also teamed up for a 105-hour Minecraft Hardcore stream, eventually defeating the Ender Dragon after days of trial and error. Their unpredictable chemistry and relentless energy have turned their marathons into major internet events.

Their Super Mario stream kept fans glued to Twitch and YouTube, as the pair battled hundreds of deaths, rage moments, and late-night chaos before finally crossing the finish line.
