League of Legends patch 14.4 aims to bring down the power level of several champions and items introduced in Season 14. Here’s everything we know about what’s getting changed in the patch.
A new patch is on the horizon for League of Legends. Patch 14.4 will bring even more balance changes to the MOBA as the developers attempt to shake up the game and ensure fairness across the board. This new patch includes changes to support items as well as various buffs and nerfs to ensure champions remain balanced.
Additionally, new changes were added onto the PTS in a way that isn’t usually done. Terminus changes, Twisted Fate nerfs, and modifications to the K’Sante nerfs have all been rolled out after the initial set of changes went live on the test server.

When does League Patch 14.4 go live?
League of Legends Patch 14.4 is expected to go live on February 22, 2024, according to Riot’s patch schedule. Patch 14.4 will head to Oceanic servers first, with other servers slowly receiving it throughout the day.
Here are the key timings of Patch 14.4 for your server:
- 3 AM PT (NA)
- 5 AM GMT (EUW)
- 3 AM CET (EUNE)
- 8 AM KST (Korea)
There’ll be a few hours of downtime when patching begins, and matchmaking queues will be taken offline about three hours beforehand.
What’s changing in LoL Patch 14.4?
Support item changes
Season 14 saw the introduction of new support items. These changes allowed all supports to start one item, before branching out and choosing the item they wanted once they completed their quest. These completed items have proven to be incredibly powerful, so Riot wants to ensure all of them have use cases.
Aurelion Sol nerfs
Despite the hotfix nerfs, Aurelion Sol is still looking incredibly strong after his mini-rework in Patch 14.3. As such, the devs are looking to take the dragon down a notch so he stops taking over games.

Red Side Camera Adjustment
The red team offset camera option has been adjusted to show more vision on the bottom of the screencompared to Live. This is intended to increase visibility for those who use this option as the UI should nowtake up less of the space you’d normally be clicking on.
