Wondering what are Substories and how many are there in Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth? We’ve got you covered with all the info right here.
Yakuza has returned with a vengeance thanks to the newest release, Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, which reintroduces players to their favorite characters. Although the first seven Yakuza games were set in Japan, the latest major entry transports players to Honolulu, Hawaii for a global adventure.
Players control a variety of characters in the game’s turn-based battle scenario, although they mostly play as Ichiban Kasuga, who has arrived in Hawaii in search of his long-lost mother. With its outstanding debut, Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth has surpassed all previous mainline Yakuza games in terms of review scores.
Aside from the main campaign and several exotic locales, there are a number of side quests called Substories that players can embark on in the game. Everything you need to know about them, including how many there are and how to access them, is right here.
How many substories are there in Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth?
Substories are optional side tasks in Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth that can be completed for XP, health, boost items, and money. A total of 52 Substories are available for players to explore and finish at launch.
Before you travel to Hawaii and access the remaining 50 substories, you must finish the first two, Radio Active and Sujimon, Generation II, in Yokohama, Japan. Following these steps should help you locate the Substories if you’re stuck.

From there, you can pick a Substory to play out. Alternatively, you can go to the game’s menu and open the map. Look for the chat icons and mark them if you wish to find a new substory. After you reach the spot, talk to an NPC to start the Substory.
