Nier Automata was originally launched back in 2017, for both the PS4 and PC – with an Xbox One release following a year later. Now, Nintendo fans can finally experience the post-apocalyptic title in all its glory when Nier Automata: The End of YoRHa Edition makes its long-awaited debut.

Nier Automata Switch will release on October 6, 2022. You can pre-order the game now on the Nintendo eShop.

The Nier Automata Switch trailer was showcased during the June 28th, 2022 Nintendo Direct. It’s here where we got an early look at the game’s hack-and-slash gameplay, post-apocalyptic environments, and combat androids – 2B and 9S. Players were also treated to one of the Nintendo Exclusive items.

According to the official press release, the Nintendo Switch version of Nier Automata “comes with previously released DLC, plus costumes exclusive to the Nintendo Switch version.” Early footage showed the game’s main protagonist, 2B, wearing a kitsune mask and traditional Japanese clothing.
