Diamond District is a free heist in Payday 3 where the gang must rob five different stores of all their jewelry. Here’s how to complete it in stealth.
Added as a free heist alongside the Houston Breakout DLC, Diamond District is the spiritual successor to Payday 2’s Four Stores heist. In it, you must steal a certain amount of jewelry from any of the five stores.
The mission offers approaches in both loud and stealth, but taking the sneaky option will mean you have a greater chance of getting away with more loot.
Getting started
For starters, check out our recommended Payday 3 stealth build which features some important skills you’ll need to run.
At the very least, we suggest using Grifter Basic, Social Engineering, and Hacker Basic as this will allow you greater freedom to walk around the Private Areas without being spotted. It’ll also mean you can pick up jewelry without civilians noticing you.
When you begin the heist, you’ll start on the street with five stores to rob from. There are three stores on one side and two on the other, with each one having its own set of loot and associated challenges. Once you’ve grabbed as much loot as you need, pop everything into the van and step into the escape zone to finish.
It should be noted that the stores can be tackled in any order, and you don’t need to hit all five to escape. We’ll break down the best ways to tackle each store, as well as the best order to do them.
A & K Jewelry
A & K Jewelry is the smallest store in the heist. Because of its size and ease of lifting the loot, we recommend hitting this store first.

- One guard patrols the store and will occasionally step outside, allowing you to steal jewelry
- Hack the camera to prevent it from spotting you stealing
- The display cases are not alarmed, so feel free to lockpick them and steal the jewelry when the guard isn’t looking
International Diamond Enterprises
Next, you should hit up International Diamond Enterprises. This store is unique to the level as it does not have any jewelry to steal in the front. Instead, all loot is located upstairs in the staff area.
- Follow the guard upstairs, when he’s at the far end of the corridor pick the lock on the door to access the storage room
- In the office are two vault doors containing jewelry bags
- The codes for the vault door keypads can be found around the upper floor: on a Whiteboard, inside a locker, and on a notepad somewhere in the office
Ashton Fine
Ashton Fine makes a return after previously appearing in Dirty Ice. Now, it seems the owner has upped security to prevent another burglary. Not that it’ll stop you.
- The shutters to the store are closed. To access the store, head through the doors just to the right and use a QR Code on the door.
- Before entering the store properly, deactivate the alarm using the lever on the wall
- Lockpick the display cases after disabling the alarm but be careful not to alert the guard patrolling
- Head into the room on the far end of the store and you’ll be able to raise the shutters for easier access
With This Ring
With This Ring is the biggest store in Diamond District. It features rows of different jewelry displays, as well as an upstairs area reserved for staff.
- The display cases aren’t alarmed. So if you trigger Rush, you’ll be able to open the display cases without alerting civilians
- Make sure to hack cameras in the store so they don’t see you
- At least two guards are in this store, so make sure they’re not nearby when you loot the jewelry
- A guard is standing by the door to the staff area. If you hack his radio using Glitch Protocol, you’ll have enough time to lockpick the door without him seeing
- There’s a door upstairs that requires a QR code, inside is the manager and a safe containing money
- There’s a vault upstairs which can be opened using a Red Keycard. The keycard can be found underneath a pile of files on the upper floor
Glimmer
Glimmer is another small store similar to A & K Jewelry. However, don’t be fooled by its size. It’s home to one of the most expensive loot items in the level and, as a result, has much tighter security. We recommend hitting this store last because of the vault in the back.
- You can disable the display case alarms in the room at the back
- A guard will occasionally come into the store. Closing the shutters will cause him to take a new route through the back area. We recommend keeping this area clear, so keep the shutters open
- You can take jewelry bags to the back and pop them in the Multi-Tag Scanner. Doing so will clean the bags to increase the sell price
- The manager will patrol through here. Mask up and take her as a human shield to the vault door. She’ll open the door for you, allowing you to take the Rare Diamond
- Since grabbing the Rare Diamond requires you to mask up, we recommend hitting this store last as it’s right by the level exit
Where to find the keycards and QR codes
There are several items dotted around the map that you’ll need for different purposes.
- Red Keycard: Found underneath a pile of files on the upper floor of With This Ring
- Purpose: Opens the vault in With This Ring upper floor
- Blue Keycard: Carried by a guard patrolling one of the stores
- Purpose: Opens the door to the camera room found in the back storage area between A & K Jewelry and With This Ring
- QR Code: Found by searching through mobile phones. One phone can be found in Glimmer.
- Purpose: Opens the upstairs office in With This Ring and opens the door to Ashton Fine
