In the eternal debate of which ARPG does it best, a new contender enters the fray. Here’s everything you need to know about when you can get your hands on Last Epoch.
Last Epoch was released into Early Access on Steam all the way back in April 2019. The game has regularly been described as occupying the space between the accessibility of Diablo 4 and the depth of Path of Exile. That seems like a fair description on the surface and opinion on the game heading into a full release is generally positive.
The game also has fresh gameplay elements that could set it apart from the competition. Time travel slots in alongside the usual ARPG fare to create a seemingly compelling landscape for Last Epoch to grow into.

Can you preload Last Epoch?
As an Early Access game, Last Epoch is able to buy and download from Steam at the time of writing. That said, it will become unavailable to purchase 24 hours before release. From there, players will have to wait to load the game onto their PCs.
With not long to go before the game’s release, Last Epoch has a delicate balancing act to ensure the full version of the game rolls out without too many hiccups.
