A new Genshin Impact web event starring Yelan has begun, giving Travelers the chance to claim some free Primogems and other in-game rewards.
The Yelan banner release is one of the most highly anticipated parts of Genshin Impact’s 2.7 update. In order to celebrate her long-awaited debut in the game, HoYoverse has made a new web event starring the mysterious Hydro 5-star character.
Not only does the “To Ensnare a Prey” web event enable Travelers to claim free Primogems, but it also contains a number of other goodies. From character Ascension Materials to Mora, there are plenty of rewards on offer in the Yelan web event.

Genshin Impact Yelan web event: To Ensnare a Prey
The latest Genshin Impact web event will enable Travelers to spend time with Yelan as she assists the Ministry of Civil Affairs. During the minigame, Travelers will need to track down the culprit that leaked the Ministry’s classified information.

After Yelan has completed her task, players will get an in-game item as a reward, which can be claimed in Genshin Impact. A total of four in-game items can be obtained during the web event.
How to take part in the Genshin Impact Yelan web event?
In order to take part in the Yelan web event, you’ll want to follow the steps outlined below:
- Head over to the official Genshin Impact web event page.
- Click ‘Begin‘ and log in using your Genshin Impact account.
- Take part in the web event.
Once you have logged in, you’ll be able to freely take part and work towards earning your prizes.

- Varunada Lazurite Fragment x3
- Mora x 20,000
- Mystic Enhancement Ore x 2
All the above items will be sent to your in-game mailbox when you complete the web event. It’s important to note that the in-game mail will expire after 30 days, so make sure to act fast and claim them quickly.

The Yelan web event began on May 26, 2022, and ends on May 31, 2022.
