Tighnari abilities in Genshin Impact
Normal Attack: Khanda Barrier-Buster
- Normal Attack: Perform up to 4 consecutive shots with a bow.
- Charged Attack:
- Perform a more precise Aimed Shot with increased DMG. While Aiming, the power of Dendro will accumulate on the arrowhead before the arrow is fired. Has different effects based on how long the energy has been charged:
- Charge Level 1: Fires off an arrow carrying the power of flora that deals Dendro DMG.
- Charge Level 2: Fires off a Wreath Arrow that deals Dendro DMG. Upon hit, the Wreath Arrow will create 4 Clusterbloom Arrows that will track nearby opponents automatically and deal Dendro DMG.
- Plunging Attack: Fires off a shower of arrows in mid-air before falling and striking the ground, dealing AoE DMG upon impact.
Elemental Skill: Vijnana-Phala Mine
Tighnari throws a Vijnana Stormheart ahead that deals AoE Dendro DMG, creating a Vijnana-Khanda Field which summons strange illusions to taunt enemies and draw their fire. Additionally, Tighnari gainst the Vijnana Suffusion effect, which will decrease the next Wreath Arrow’s charging time by 2.4 seconds. This effect will dissipate once the skill duration ends or after Tighnari has fired 3 Wreath Arrows.
Elemental Burst: Fashioner’s Tanglevine Shaft
Combines the power of all seeds to fire 6 Tanglevine Shafts that can track opponents and deal Dendro DMG. After they hit, the Tanglevine Shafts will create a secondary wave of Tanglevine Shafts that can also track opponents and deal Dendro DMG on hit.
Tighnari Constellations in Genshin Impact
Lucky enough to pull multiple copies of Tighnari? Here are what buffs you can expect from his Constellations:
- Level One – Beginnings Determined at the Roots: Tighnari’s Charged Attack CRIT Rate is increased by 15%.
- Level Two – Origins Known From the Stem: When there are opponents within the Vijnana-Khanda Field created by Vijnana-Phala Mine, Tighnari gains 20% Dendro DMG Bonus. The effect will last up to 6s if the field’s duration ends or if it no longer has opponents with it.
- Level Three – Fortunes Read Amongst the Branches: Increases the Level of Fashioner’s Tanglevine Shaft by 3. Maximum upgrade level is 15.
- Level Four – Withering Glimpsed in the Leaves: When Fashioner’s Tanglevine Shaft is unleashed, all nearby party members gain 60 Elemental Mastery for 8s. If the Fashioner’s Tanglevine Shaft triggers a Burning, Bloom, Quicken, or Spread reaction, their Elemental Mastery will be further increased by 60. This latter case will also refresh the buff state’s duration.
- Level Five – Comprehension Amidst the Flowers: Increases the level of Vijnana-Phala Mine by 3. Maximum upgrade level is 15.
- Level Six – Karma Adjudged From the Leaden Fruit: Wreath Arrow’s charging time is decreased by 0.9s, and will produce 1 additional Clusterbloom Arrow upon hit. This arrow deals 150% of Tighnari’s ATK as DMG.
Best Tighnari Artifacts in Genshin Impact
We recommend using the 4-piece Deepwood Memories artifact set on Tighnari to increase his Dendro DMG bonus. After hitting an enemy with either an Elemental Skill or Elemental Burst, you can decrease their Dendro RES by 30% for eight seconds.
Alternatively, you could run the 4-piece Wanderer’s Troupe to really focus on Tighnari’s powerful Charged Attacks. This set will not only improve his Elemental Mastery by 80 but will also increase his Charged Attack DMG by 35%.
Lastly, you could place the 4-piece Gilded Dreams set on Tighnari if you’re looking to receive ATK and Elemental Mastery buffs after triggering an Elemental Reaction.

Best Tighnari weapons
The best weapon for Tighnari to use is the 5-star Hunter’s Path. This bow will grant a 12% Elemental Bonus to the character in addition to increasing his Charged Attack DMG by 160% of his Elemental Mastery.
Another 5-star option is Aqua Simulacra in order to improve Tighnari’s HP by 16%, alongside a 20% DMG increase when enemies are nearby. This effect can activate whether Tighnari is on the field or not.
If you don’t have either 5-star weapon, we suggest running Scion of the Blazing Sun to deal 60% ATK as DMG after hitting an opponent with a Charged Attack.
Weapon | Details |
Hunter’s Path | Gain 12% All Elemental DMG Bonus. Obtain the Tireless Hunt effect after hitting an opponent with a Charged Attack. This effect increases Charged Attack DMG by 160% of Elemental Mastery. This effect will be removed after 12 Charged Attacks or 10s. Only 1 instance of Tireless Hunt can be gained every 12s. |
Aqua Simulacra | HP is increased by 16%. When there are opponents nearby, the DMG dealt by the wielder of this weapon is increased by 20%. This will take effect whether the character is on-field or not. |
Scion of the Blazing Sun | After a Charged Attack hits an opponent, a Sunfire Arrow will descend upon the opponent hit, dealing 60% ATK as DMG, and applying the Heartsearer effect to the opponent damaged by said Arrow for 10s. Opponents affected by Heartsearer take 28% more Charged Attack DMG from the wielder. A Sunfire Arrow can be triggered once every 10s. |

Tighnari Genshin Impact trailer
In August 2022, HoYoverse posted a character demo for Tighnari on its official YouTube channel. You can watch it below:
Best Tighnari team comp
The best team composition for Tighnari would feature Yae Miko and Fischl to activate the Spread Elemental Reaction. To guarantee the Dendro-related reaction, we recommend having either a Geo or Anemo character in the fourth slot. We suggest either Zhongli or Kazuha for this role.
Instead of Zhongli, you could also run Nahida with the Deepwood Memories set to ensure Spread and Aggravate Elemental Reactions.
