Yun Jin release date in Genshin Impact
Yun Jin will appear in Genshin Impact with the 2.4 update on January 5, 2022.
She will be available until February 15, so if you’re looking to add her to your roster be sure to save up your primogems!
Yun Jin banner
Yun Jin’s banner will be available during the first stage of the Event Wish cycle, where she’ll drop during the “Transcendent One” and “Invitation to Mundane life” quests at a higher rate.
Yun Jin abilities in Genshin Impact
Yun Jin transfers her operatic flourish to the battlefield in a series of Geo attacks. Perfect for compositions in need of a normal attacker, her abilities bolster her allies through song and dance.
Yun Jin Elemental Skill: Opening Flourish
Yun Jin charges up a sweeping polearm attack which is unleashed on her enemies. As she charges the skill, she’s granted a shield to ensure that she isn’t just a sitting duck.
Depending on how long you charge the skill for, it’ll do Charge 1 or Charge 2 damage. Adding the “True to Yourself” skill into the mix means that, if Yun Jin is attacked while charging, she automatically hits a Charge 2 attack.
Yun Jin Elemental Burst: Cliffbreaker’s Banner
Cliffbreaker’s Banner deals Geo AoE damage and provides surrounding allies with the “Flying Cloud Flag Formation” buff. This means that, when allies do normal damage to enemies, their output is increased based on Yun Jin’s current defense.

She’s seemingly very popular, and will likely only grow in notoriety as players start exploring Teyvat with her.
Here’s miHoYo’s blurb for the character, which admittedly doesn’t give a great deal away: “She is the director of the Yun-Han Opera Troupe and is also a famous figure in Liyue Harbor’s opera scene.”
