Rockstar Games have finally made their new Diamond Casino Heist mission available to play in Grand Theft Auto 5 and it’s arrived alongside a shed load of new content.
The game’s developers have done a brilliant job of keeping people interested in a game that’s, let’s not forget, over six years old. It was confirmed that they recorded their highest ever amount of concurrent players for the grand opening of the casino back in July and they don’t look like slowing down any time soon.
Anybody who plays GTA or keeps up to date with news regarding the game will have known that December 12 was the launch for the brand new heist, although much more than that was then confirmed in a release day blog post.
Let’s take a look at everything included in the bumper patch.
GTA Diamond Casino heist update patch notes
Heist breakdown
The GTA Diamond Casino heist is made up of a number of different missions, but you’re going to need to buy yourself a brand new Arcade property – which can be found on the Maze Bank Foreclosures app – in order to get things going. The basement planning area downstairs is where you can get the ball rolling.

Once you’re ready to go, the following missions can be played through. More information on each of them is included in the news announcement from Rockstar.
- Badlands Revenge II
- The Wizard’s Ruin
- Race and Chase – Street Legal
- Race and Chase – Crotch Rockets
- Race and Chase – Get Truckin’
- Space Monkey 3: Bananas Gone Bad
- Shiny Wasabi Kitty Claw
- Nazar Speaks Fortune Teller
- The Love Professor
- Defender of the Faith
- Monkey’s Paradise
- Penetrator
It does suggest, however, that teams will need to get themselves a decent driver, gunman and hacker to be successful in both the preparatory tasks and the real deal.
New vehicles and iFruit Radio
A ton of fresh missions is not the only thing this heist update brings, however, as there’s going to be six new vehicles driving around Los Santos’ streets – or off road if you’re that way inclined – to look out for.

These new heist vehicles include the Karin Everon, Lampadati Komoda, Maxwell Asbo, Maxwell Vagrant, Vapid Retinue MKII and Übermacht’s Rebla GTS.
The selection of vehicles available at Warstock Cache & Carry just got bigger, too, as six new vehicles can now be bought right from their application on your iFruit phone. Additions include a Fire Truck, a Bugstars van and a Gruppe Sechs Stockade for those who are interested.
Aside from vehicles, Rockstar also added a new iFruit Radio station with a whole host of new songs now available to listen to in the game. Tracks include Travis Scott – HIGHEST IN THE ROOM, Shoreline Mafia – Wings, DaBaby – BOP and more. If you would like to see the full list, check out all 27 here.
Twitch Prime benefits
If you’re a Twitch Prime subscriber, this month you’re going to get a whole lot more than just one free subscription on Twitch.
GTA players with their Social Club account linked to Twitch Prime are being handed Pixel Pete’s Arcade Property in Paleto Bay for absolutely nothing. Not one dollar spent.
Twitch Prime members who have already purchased the property will be given a 100% rebate on their investment by Rockstar Games.
So, that’s a wrap! If you’re a regular GTA player who maybe hasn’t played the game in a while, is this going to get you come back on and give it a try? Go on, get the band back together and assemble a crew.
