Exciting times are ahead for Grand Theft Auto players as Rockstar Games has rolled out an update for GTA V. The Online update adds a brand new in-game event, another car on the Diamond Casino podium, and more rewards for Twitch Prime members.
The game’s developers have been doing an excellent job of keeping their current game fresh in the midst of so many rumors surrounding new projects, such as Bully 2 and GTA 6, and weekly content updates have been a big part of that.
It might come as a surprise to many members of the game’s online community to see that a pickup truck is actually the headline vehicle for this week, but don’t let that put you off. There’s a new car up for grabs on the Lucky Wheel, a new event has kicked off with double rewards and more.
Let’s take a look at everything that’s been added to GTA Online this week.
GTA Online update (Feb 6) – What’s changed?
Declasse Drift Yosemite
We might as well get this one out of the way right off the bat, as a new pickup truck called the Declasse Drift Yosemite has been added to GTA Online.
While it might not wow you with its incredible looks like supercars have in recent times, this addition is an expensive one – especially if you would like to add it to your own garage. It’s being sold for $1.3 million at Southern San Andreas Super Autos.
Furia arrives on the podium
You can grab a very expensive car for absolutely nothing, however, with just one spin of the Lucky Wheel if you’re, well, lucky enough.
The Furia, which appears to be inspired by one of Ferrari’s sporty vehicles, is being sold for $2,740,000 at Legendary Motorsport. But if you manage to land on the podium prize when spinning the Lucky Wheel, you will pick it up completely free of charge.

Each GTA Online player can spin the wheel once per game by visiting the Diamond Casino and Resort.
New GTA Online event – Double rewards

Those playing the following in GTA Online will be handed double payouts and double RP for completing them between February 6 and February 12:
- Rockstar Created Stunt Races
- Southern San Andreas Super Sport Series Races
- RC Time Trials
- Business Battles
