GTA Online players can get their hands on a brand-new car, the Obey 8F Drafter, for free following the launch of the Cluckin’ Bell Farm Raid. Here’s what you need to know.
Even though Rockstar Games are full steam ahead with work on GTA 6 ahead of its long-awaited launch in 2025, the Grand Theft Auto devs have continued to show plenty of love to GTA Online.
The multiplayer side of GTA 5 finally got its first heist since Cayo Perico on March 7, as they added the Cluckin’ Bell Farm Raid to the mix. Like other heists, the Cluckin’ Bell raid can be completed solo, but it isn’t incredibly lucrative anyway – as you’ll only come out with a $500k payout.
As well as the new heist, Rockstar also added a handful of new cars too. The highly-anticipated Bravado Gauntlet Interceptor is now up for sale for over $4 million. However, if you haven’t got that cash to spend, you could look at the Obery 8F Drafter.
How to claim Obey 8F Drafter in GTA Online
That’s right, Rockstar are also looking after GTA Online players who may not be flush with cash, as you can new the new 8F Drafter without paying a single cent.

All you have to do is head over to Rockstar’s Newswire for the March 7 update and find the section about the new car. From there, you can click ‘claim now’ and you’ll be asked to sign into the Rockstar Games account that is linked to your GTA Online profile. You have until March 18 to do this.
Once you’ve navigated those steps, you will have to log into GTA Online between March 18 and April 3 for at least 30 minutes. You’ll then be able to add the car to your collection.
- Head over to Rockstar’s Newswire
- Click ‘Claim Now’ on the 8F Drafter
- Authenticate your Rockstar Games & GTA Online account
- Log into GTA Online for at least 30 minutes
- Add the new car to one of your garages!
As ever, you’ll need space in one of your garages to keep the Drafter in your collection, so make sure you’ve got a spot for it – even if that means getting rid of something else.
