The supposed reveal date for Grand Theft Auto 6 has apparently been revealed thanks to an anonymous post on 4Chan – with YouTuber MrBossFTW picking up on the seemingly inside information.
Fans of Rockstar Games from around the world are eagerly anticipating any sort of official news regarding GTA 6. The developers of the uber-successful sandbox franchise have remained silent for now – focusing on the Red Dead Redemption 2 and updates to GTA V’s multiplayer section, GTA Online.
However, there have been rumors to suggest that, despite the silence, Rockstar could be dropping GTA VI at some point in 2020 – as popular YouTuber MrBossFTW has seemingly uncovered more evidence to suggest that will be the case.
In his newest video, the Grand Theft Auto content creator noted that an anonymous post had surfaced on 4Chan that simply said: “March 25th. GTA VI,” with the iconic Rockstar Games logo being attached.
Now, of course, anyone can post on the message board and the addition of anonymity lets trolls run wild at times, but the YouTuber pointed out that there could be some legitimacy to it. In fact, details about Rockstar announcements have surfaced ahead of time on the website – the reveal date for Red Dead Redemption 2 being leaked on there in a similar fashion.

MrBossFTW also noted that details about GTA Online content has been posted on there in the past as well, though, being skeptical about a GTA 6 announcement is, obviously, natural.
With March 25th not too far away in the future, we won’t have long to wait and see as to whether or not the supposed insider was correct or trolling everyone for attention.
Fans will be hoping that they’re right though and that they’ll have more concrete details about GTA VI sooner rather than later.
