Helldivers 2 devs have revealed that an eagerly-awaited customization feature could be released soon, which will give troopers some added flair when liberating the galaxy.
Helldivers 2 is filled with unlockable armor pieces that players can equip in their fight to save Super Earth and liberate the galaxy from the Terminid and Automaton threats. Not only do these sci-fi suits of armor look incredibly cool, but they also increase your survivability – an incredibly important area, particularly for those who are dropping into Malevelon Creek.
While many Helldivers have been keen to flex their free TR-117 Alpha Commander armor and deluxe edition armor, the developers have revealed that a key customization feature could be coming to the game soon.

This is obviously frustrating for those who wish to stand out and come up with their own unique looks, to help differentiate themselves from their squadmates. Fortunately, it looks as though Helldivers 2 will be getting color customization options in the future.
This was confirmed by Johan Pilestedt, who stated that the feature is currently being “discussed internally.” Quite when Helldivers 2 armor color customization will be coming to the game remains to be seen, but so far, the devs have been incredibly quick when it comes to addressing the game’s issues, with regular patches and the recent server expansions.
