The Helldivers 2 community has found new inspiration to spread Managed Democracy after the devs announced a big, new Major Order reward.
Major Orders are just one of the ways that Helldivers 2 aims to bring its community together, as it gives every player a shared goal to work towards completing.
In doing so, the fans will usually be given a big reward in the form of one of the game’s currencies, making the extended effort more than worth it.
The newest Major Order raises that bar even further, though, with a hefty prize that has the Helldivers 2 playerbase ready to dive back in as soon as they can.
Helldivers 2 fans adore the new Major Order reward
The new Major Order came out today for the community, asking everyone to help liberate the planet of Veld through completing missions there.
The massive prize that is being promised for completing this objective is a whopping 45 War Medals for every player.
For context, War Medals are the currency players use to unlock content in the Helldivers 2 War Bond battle passes, which is the main source of all cosmetics and weapons in the game.

The response to this reward has been overwhelmingly positive, with one fan making a post on the game’s subreddit saying: “Now that is a proper reward for spreading Managed Democracy.”
Others are in agreement with this, saying that this reward is going to give a big bump to the game:
“Yeah, 45 medals is a HUGE boost to low playtime players and a real nice chunk for the no lifes like me. I think its clear they are improving with this, once the war is really going i imagine there will be tons of cool stuff going on.”
Many are saying that having something like this to work towards helps with some of the game’s progression bugs that have been irritating many Helldivers 2 players.
On another post referencing the reward, another user says: “Or maybe this is just the game dev giving us something simple because of the state that the game has gone through in the past couple weeks. The devs saying: ‘Thanks for being patient with us!'”
All in all, the Helldivers 2 community is finding inspiration to fight again after this week’s devastating loss of Malevelon Creek.
