As a live service title, Honkai Star Rail servers can go down from time to time, and we’ve got all the latest server status information for you right here.
Every patch for the gacha game lasts for six weeks and new content gets added regularly for everyone to enjoy. Additions include in-game, new characters to pull on banners for, and occasionally brand-new locations to explore.
There’s nothing more frustrating than not being able to play your favorite game, so staying on top of the HSR server status before patches are released is essential.
Are Honkai Star Rail servers down?
No, Honkai Star Rail servers are currently up and running, and fully functional.
The servers were last down on October 22nd and 23rd for maintenance prior to the release of the 2.6 version update.
It’s important to keep in mind that servers typically go down ahead of new patch updates that launch every six weeks. While we don’t have a set release date for version 2.7 yet, it’s expected to launch on December 3rd so based on this the servers will next be down in early December.

How to check server status
We’ll always update this page whenever the servers go down so the easiest way to keep up to date is to bookmark this page.
Update information is also shared on the game’s official X account a few days before new patches drop, so it’s worth keeping an eye on the page as well.
Maintenance between patches typically lasts five hours, though it can get extended. Should that happen, HoYoverse keeps the community informed and often compensates players with Stellar Jades via in-game email.
