Firefly, over the past few months, has become one of the most beloved characters in this game. Her relationship with the Trailblazer, impact on the story, and personal struggles have attracted every fan of Honkai Star Rail.
The best aspect about Firefly is that her damage potential for free-to-play players is on par with people who will spend money on her. She is one of those units who offers a lot with very little investment.
If you are interested in pulling for Firefly, here is what you need to know about her.
Who is Firefly in Honkai Star Rail?
Firefly is a Stellaron Hunter who also pilots the cyborg Sam. She has a very bright personality and is always looking to help the Trailblazer. In fact, over the course of Penacony’s story, she has become the Trailblazer’s closest friend and are always looking after one another.
However, she also has a really depressing backstory as her home planet was destroyed due to a Swarm Disaster attack. Without spoiling too much, she has since joined the Stellaron Hunters, but she also has her own ideals and beliefs that Firefly works hard to live by.

Should you pull for Firefly in Honkai Star Rail?
Yes, you must pull for Firefly in Honkai Star Rail. She is probably one of the best DPS units in the game right now, right beside Acheron. She is also very easy to build as you do not need to go for Crit stats. Instead, Break Effect and ATK are the only stats you need which are easy to build.
As a free-to-play player you will deal damage very similar to how you might been watching in YouTube videos and showcases. The only issue with Firefly is that you need a dedicated team for her. You will have to build Gallagher and Harmony Trailblazer to make the most out of Firefly’s kit.
However, that is something which can be fixed with time. On the other hand, leaving Firefly will be a mistake as her damage output is simply unmatched.
Best Firefly team in Honkai Star Rail
The best team characters to pair alongside Firefly are Gallagher, Harmony Trailblazer, and Ruan Mei. In this team, Gallagher is the sustain who can also land debuffs on enemies. Harmony Trailblazer’s Super Break DMG mechanics synergizes very well with Firefly.
Finally, Ruan Mei is the best support when it comes to Weakness Break mechanics in the game.
