Honkai Star Rail Version 1.1: Release date, banners, events, and more

The highly anticipated Honkai Star Rail 1.1 update has finally arrived and there’s a lot of new content for Trailblazers to enjoy in the game. Here’s everything you need to know about Version 1.1 including banners, new characters, events, and quests.

Honkai Star Rail’s first big update, Version 1.1 has just been released and players can spend their hard-earned Stellar Jade on the latest banners, and enjoy new events and quests. There are some exciting banners in this update, with new characters, Silver Wolf and Luocha being featured in the Phase 1 and 2 banners respectively.

Aside from banners, there will also be plenty of new quests for Trailblazers to tackle, events that will grant exciting rewards, and requested quality-of-life changes. So without further ado, here’s a rundown of everything that’s available in Honkai Star Rail’s 1.1 update.

Honkai Star Rail Version 1.1: Release date

The Honkai Star Rail 1.1 update was released on June 7, 2023, and is expected to end on July 13, 2023.

This means players will have plenty of time to save their Stellar Jade for the Phase 1 and Phase 2 banners.

Honkai Star Rail Version 1.1 Banners

The 1.1 Phase 1 banner which launched on June 7, 2023, features the debut of 5-star Quantum character Silver Wolf. The following 4-stars are also included in the banner:

Phase 2 of the update will introduce the 5-star Imaginary character, Luocha, which will be available on June 28, 2023, and is expected to end on July 13, 2023. The following 4-stars will also feature in Luocha’s banner:

The current 1.1 Brilliant Fixation banner features the 5-star Light Cone Incessant Rain for followers of The Nihility Path. The 4-star Light Cones featured include Make The World Clamor (The Erudition), Memories of the Past (The Harmony), and Subscribe for More! (The Hunt).

Honkai Star Rail 1.1 Events

There are five distinct events running during version 1.1 of Honkai Star Rail. The first is the Starhunt Game which is a limited-time event surrounding Silver Wolf. Players can earn a free 4-star Nihility Light Cone upon completion.

The second major event is the Everwinter City Museum Ledger of Curiosities. In this event, Trailblazers will have to help Pela track down the lost exhibits from the Belebog Museum. The museum will also remain in the game as a mode even once the event is over.

The third event players can partake in is Stellar Flare. This is a combat challenge where players will need to take advantage of the different buffs that are given to them in order to complete battles in the least amount of turns possible.

Finally, the final events for Honkai Star Rail Version 1.1 are Lab Assistants in Position and the Garden of Plenty. Lab Assistants will see players collecting monster materials in exchange for rewards, and the Garden of Plenty tasks you with completing the Golden and Crimson Calyx for additional rewards.

Honkai Star Rail Version 1.1: Quests

The Version 1.1 update features a total of 4 companion quests for Trailblazers to enjoy.

Honkai Star Rail Version 1.1 QoL changes

In Version 1.1, HoYoverse has introduced a few QoL changes. This first has made farming a lot easier for players. Now, if you ever need to farm for Ascension Materials for your characters, and if that material is dropped by a particular type of enemy, then you will be instantly teleported to the area where they can be found.

The exact location of the enemy will also be marked on the map with pinpoint accuracy. Upon defeating the enemy, the marker will now point to the location of the next enemy.

Finally, the 1.1 update will see the introduction of a friend chat function in the game.
