Kick has banned streamer ‘sweatergxd’ after a clip from his broadcast went viral that showed him holding a gun to a woman’s head.
As the streaming wars between Kick and Twitch wage on, streamers on the green platform have been given a lot more leeway in their content with less strict rules.
We’ve seen streamers have sex on stream with minimal consequences and even brawls between men and women break out in fight club broadcasts. However, one streamer seems to have taken things so far that even Kick had to get out its ban hammer.
On March 8, sweatergxd was in his room with a few others who appeared to be intoxicated. At one point, a man took out a black handgun and began constantly pulling the weapon’s trigger, showing that it wasn’t loaded, while the streamer play-wrestled with a woman.
Kick bans streamer for pulling gun
As the woman began laughing about finding a McChicken wrapper from McDonald’s in the room, sweatergxd grabbed the gun and put it to her head.
“That’s so hot,” the woman said as sweatergxd proceeded to put the gun in her mouth.

It’s not clear if the gun was real or fake, but it wasn’t long until the streamer was handed a ban. However, according to sweatergxd, there may have been another reason for a ban on top of the gun incident.
In a call with fellow Kick streamer SamBond, sweater claimed he was banned for “hate speech.”
An X/Twitter account dedicated to sharing updates on the streamer claimed that he was banned twice in five hours following the gun-related suspension.
A screenshot of an email Sweater received revealed the ban would be lifted on March 11, indicating it would last just three days.
This isn’t the first time that guns have caused controversy on Kick. Last month, Adin Ross nearly had his foot blown off in a shooting prank after a bullet barely missed him.
