League of Legends called Senna, and players finally have a full look at the new champion’s abilities – including a global ultimate.
In 2019, the LoL devs have already brought the strong elemental brawler Qiyana to the Rift back in June. This time Riot’s new combatant will primarily fill the support role who will synergize with bot-carry Lucian by bringing a mix of long-range protection and damage.
While the lore behind Senna has been brewing for years, players will soon get the chance to explore all of her abilities along with her massive Relic Cannon which she uses to shield allies and snipe foes.
Senna’s scaling passive and healing gun
The Redeemer’s passive is called Absolution, which allows her to increase her range, attack damage and crit chance over time if she absorbs “Mist” from enemies she hits or from wraiths who spawn from fallen enemies.
“Senna’s Relic Cannon is slow to fire, but deals bonus damage. She can power up its range, Attack Damage, and Crit chance over time by absorbing Mist from enemy champions she’s attacking or from wraiths that spawn from dead enemies.”
Her Q is called Piercing Darkness that looks a lot like Lucian’s Q, except with a much longer attack range. The bolt actually heals allies while damaging enemies.
“Senna fires a bolt that heals her allies and damages her foes. Senna can keep attacking to decrease Piercing Darkness’ cooldown.”
The Mist snares foes and hides allies
She also comes packaged with a crowd control (CC) ability in her W called Last Embrace. She unleashes the Mist on the first target she hits with the ability, damaging them and after a short delay roots them along with anyone other surrounding enemy.
If the spell finishes off a low-health opponent it will immediately disperse the CC in a burst, catching whoever is in its blast radius.

Her E is called Curse of the Black Mist that shrouds Senna in a “cloud of mist,” giving her movement speed and a camouflage to herself as well as nearby allies.
The camouflage has a lasting impression on players since “teammates who emerge from the mist appear as unclickable wraiths to enemies until they either attack or get close.”
A true League of Legends sniper
Senna’s Ultimate ability is called Dawning Shadow and it uses the champion’s massive Relic Cannon to unleash a global beam on the Rift.
Allies caught in the beam are shielded, while enemies caught in the center of the beam’s range take damage. This is a sniper support’s dream ability seeing as they can influence a battle even from across the map.
Senna will definitely be a favorite among League of Legends’ more aggressive support players.
Since her ability kit is packaged with heals, shields, CC, an escape, camouflage, and a global ult, there’s bound to be various playstyles that emerge after Senna steps onto the Rift soon.
