The 2019 League of Legends season is finally underway, with all the major leagues around the world having kicked off.
With so much League of Legends to choose from across so many different days and time zones, however, it can be hard to keep up with all of the action.
If watching League of Legends isn’t your full-time job, there’s a good chance it won’t be possible to watch every match in all of the big leagues. If you want to keep track of what’s happening around the world, though, you may want to catch some of the highlight games across the Spring Split.
To help you catch the big moments this spring, here’s when some of the most exciting matches around the world will be taking place.
LCS
Team Liquid vs 100 Thieves
A rematch of the 2018 Spring finals, the most exciting element of this match is the battle of the bot lanes. Former SKT AD Carry Bae ‘Bang’ Jun-sik has made the move to 100 Thieves, and alongside ‘Aphromoo’ will be one of the main challengers against Yilliang ‘Doublelift’ Peng and ‘CoreJJ’ for the title of the league’s strongest bot duo.

Cloud9 vs Team SoloMid
Perhaps North America’s most storied match-up, Cloud9 and TSM both have something to prove at the start of 2019. TSM are coming off of their most disappointing season to date, while Cloud9 have lost star mid-laner Nicolaj ‘Jensen’ Jensen, and both will be looking for a big win in this NA grudge match.

Team Liquid vs Cloud9
The two North American power-houses of 2018, Team Liquid dominated domestically but Cloud9 set new records for the region at Worlds. Team Liquid emerged victorious in their first match-up, which kicked off the new season, but it was a narrower win than might have been expected. Cloud9 will be looking to prove they can take down the league favorites when the all-important playoffs are a little closer.

LEC
G2 Esports vs Misfits
Arguably the two strongest rosters on paper in the LEC, G2 and Misfits have both lived up to their billings in the opening weeks. Only G2 remain unbeaten, but Misfits sit at a 3-1 record having put in some dominant performances. This could be a preview of the battle for the title come playoff time.

Origen vs Fnatic
One of Europe’s classic battles, neither Origen nor Fnatic have quite had the start to their season that they would’ve liked. Nevertheless, this is a match with a lot of history to it – there’s pride on the line, and by the time they next meet it’s very possible that both teams will be desperate for every win they can get.

LCK
SK Telecom T1 vs Griffin
This is without a doubt the big match of LCK Spring 2019. Griffin right now look unstoppable, in a class of their own. The only candidate that may really challenge them is the SK Telecom super-team, and how this match-up goes will likely set the tone for the rest of the split for both teams.

SK Telecom T1 vs KT Rolster
Who doesn’t love a Telecom War? With KT’s slow start it looks like this should be a fairly comfortable one for SKT, but there’s plenty of talent on KT to turn things around and South Korea’s most classic match-up is always worth a watch.

LPL
Invictus Gaming vs Royal Never Give Up
These are the two titans of the LPL. RNG dominated most of the season last year, winning both Spring and Summer Splits, and during the regular seasons were the only team to take series against Invictus. At the World Championship, however, it was Invictus Gaming who took the crown. The rivalry between the two remains the most exciting offering in the LPL as the 2019 season kicks off.
