League of Legends analyst Nick ‘LS’ De Cesare gave a merciless appraisal of low-ranked players while reviewing a coaching client.
A known elitist, it will come as no surprise to fans of LS that his view of low-ranked players isn’t especially positive.
During a recent stream, LS was reviewing the record of a relatively new Silver II-ranked player whose most-played champion was Soraka at Support.
LS immediately suggested that the player stop playing Soraka, on the basis that his team-mates at this rank would be incapable of making the most of the support that Soraka provides.
“You’re probably not even maxing E. Yeah you’re not maxing E, of course you’re maxing W because you think that your Silver team-mates are going to carry you when they can’t even carry themselves out of bed.”
LS’s criticism didn’t stop with their in-game skills, however, going on to suggest that such players would likely struggle to even perform basic bodily functions.

For the player he was reviewing, his advice was simple – play Annie, a Support champion who can have a slightly more direct impact rather than just enabling team-mates, for the next two hundred games.
LS recently revealed that for the 2019 season he will be coaching Challengers Korea team BBQ Olivers, making him the first western coach to work with a South Korean team.
BBQ Olivers are also the first South Korean team to feature a western player, with Swedish Jungler Sebastian ‘Malice’ Edholm having made his debut in the KeSPA Cup, where bbq finished 9-12 after being eliminated by the formidable SK Telecom T1.
