Team Liquid’s Yiliang ‘Doubelift‘ Peng said that 100 Thieves played so badly in their February 25 LCS match up, that he was actually laughing during the game.
Currently sitting in first place in the League of Legends Championship Series, with a 9-1 record, Team Liquid are the team to beat in the division, but 100 Thieves were not the team to do it.
In their Monday match-up, Team Liquid battered 100T, finishing the match with eight champion kills to one, leaving their opponents still wallowing in the bottom two of the league standings.
Despite bringing in experienced talent like Bae ‘Bang’ Jun-sik, 100 Thieves have failed to replicate their early success from their first year of competition in the LCS, with the loss to Team Liquid their seventh in ten games.
And judging by Doublelift’s comments after the match, in an interview with Travis Gafford, 100 Thieves are still a long way off turning it around.

“At level one, I just started laughing after we hit like ten skillshots on their bot lane in like ten seconds,” the Liquid star explained, “the thing is, 100 Thieves played so bad, and they didn’t do anything […] we expected more resistance from them, but there was nothing.”
100 Thieves only sit above bottom placed Clutch Gaming on account of their head-to-head record, and with the Spring Split now past the half-way point, time is running out for them to turn it around.
Team Liquid meanwhile are in cruise control – at least against the lesser teams currently, as Doublelift has made clear.
