Riot Games has released the notes for patch 14.3, which brings with it multiple changes to items, burst damage, and targeted champion nerfs.
League of Legends patch 14.3 introduces a bunch of new updates like lowering the overall burst in the game and adjusting champions that are abusing the current time system.

When does LoL Patch 14.3 go live?
League of Legends Patch 14.3 is expected to go live on February 7, 2024, according to Riot’s patch schedule. Patch 14.3 will head to Oceanic servers first, with other servers slowly receiving it throughout the day.
Here are the key timings of Patch 14.3 for your server:
- 3 AM PT (NA)
- 5 AM GMT (EUW)
- 3 AM CET (EUNE)
- 8 AM KST (Korea)
There’ll be a few hours of downtime when patching begins, and matchmaking queues will be taken offline about three hours beforehand.
What’s changing in LoL patch 14.3?
Item Changes
Riot is beefing up some items, like those used by attack-speed-reliant champions in the bot lane, to better contest with burst champions. The developer is also reducing the power of AP burst damage items and proc damages to reduce the amount of burst overall in the game.
Vanguard
Riot’s anti-cheat, Vanguard, was supposed to be added to League of Legends in the previous patch. However, some “critical bugs” kept the developer from implementing it at that time. The process for implementing the system will start with this patch.
Players will have their computers checked during this update to see if it is ready to install Vanguard. The system will actually be installed on to player’s devices in patch 14.5.
