League of Legends Patch 10.9 is set to be a small one, however the chances are still just as crucial. Wukong will be toned down after his rework was deemed too powerful, while Fiddlesticks will be seeing the reverse happen to him.
The next update for League of Legends will have a heavy focus on the top lane and jungle. After the last couple of patches brought the bot lane back in line, Riot are looking at evening out the other areas of the Rift.
Recently reworked champions Wukong and Fiddlesticks are also on the change list once again, however for vastly different reasons.
Wukong, Trundle, and Karthus have been tearing up the jungle in both pro play and solo queue.
The jungle XP changes in Patch 10.8 helped them out a little bit too much, so their kits are being touched up to bring them back in line with other champions.
Supports are also on the chopping block in Patch 10.9. Bard and Nami have been deemed too strong, and as such, will have some power taken away.

Buff-wise, some out of favor top laners are about to get a nice present. Gnar, Cho’Gath, Quinn, and Lissandra are due for some buffs, to help balance the meta out as new champions like Jayce and Kennen break their way back into the top lane.
Fiddlesticks is getting a targeted support buff in Patch 10.9, so you can expect some changes to his E as his primary in-lane utility.

Lastly, Kayn will be getting a buff in the jungle. While Kayn has been a solid pick in solo queue in the past, he’s struggled to maintain relevancy. Sanguine Blade is set for a buff too, but players will be hoping it’s not to the level of the item’s power back on release in pre-season.
The next update will also mark the arrival of the FunPlus Phoenix Worlds 2019 skins, commemorating the Chinese squad’s triumph in Paris last November. Gangplank, Lee Sin, Malphite, Vayne, and Thresh will be getting cosmetics in their honor.
League of Legends Patch 10.9 is expected to arrive on April 29. You can find the full patch preview below.
