League of Legends pro Marcin ‘Jankos’ Jankowski revealed his hilarious reason for wanting a rematch against Korean giants SK Telecom T1.
Jankos is considered to be one of the best LoL junglers in the world and recently showed why as he was voted MVP of the League of Legends European Championship Summer Split due to his amazing performances.
On September 11, he revealed who he wants to face at the LoL World Championship, and why he’s especially excited about the prospect of facing the Korean champions SKT T1.
“I would not be myself if I didn’t say that I’m most looking forward to playing against SKT” said Jankos, before adding a rather silly reason why. It’s nothing to do with the game, but simply because he wants to meet Lee ‘Faker’ Sang-hyeok and take a picture with him.
The two players met at the 2019 Mid-Season Invitational, but the Pole decided against asking for a photo because he thought it would give the Korean a “mental edge” going into their match, and then felt it would be inappropriate after defeating them.

Jankos is now hoping to get a picture in the World Championship group stage, before any potential face-off against SKT, but still has doubts in his mind as the potential mental edge could be there if the two teams meet in the playoffs.
He seems to have made his decision regardless of those doubts, saying “I don’t know if it’s a good idea to ever get a picture with Faker but if I can, I’d do it because I am still a huge fanboy.”
Meanwhile, Faker also wants SKT and G2 to meet, but for an entirely different reason. The Korean star wants revenge after their last match, where G2 managed an unexpected 3-2 over the Koreans on their way to the Mid-Season Invitational title.
Jankos may be able to fulfill his dreams of getting a photo with Faker from October 2 – November 10, when teams from all around the world will gather for the LoL World Championship.
