LoL patch 14.12 notes: Corki changes, First Strike nerfs, more

The newest patch 14.12 for League of Legends is quickly arriving and will introduce changes to Corki after he rose up as a powerful ADC post-rework.

League of Legends is introducing even more changes to the MOBA in Patch 14.12 to make further adjustments and continue balancing the game after the major patch 14.10.

When does League Patch 14.12 go live?

League of Legends Patch 14.12 is expected to go live on June 12, 2024. Patch 14.12 will head to Oceanic servers first, with other servers slowly receiving it throughout the day.

Here are the key timings of Patch 14.12 for your server:

  • 3 AM PT (NA)
  • 5 AM GMT (EUW)
  • 3 AM CET (EUNE)
  • 8 AM KST (Korea)

There’ll be a few hours of downtime when patching begins, and matchmaking queues will be taken offline approximately three hours beforehand.

What’s changing in LoL Patch 14.12?

Corki changes

Corki quickly shot up as a strong contender after his rework. Using the new crit items and the true damage granted by his passive, he quickly became powerful as a bursty ADC.

Riot is looking to make some changes to make him revolve more around using his passive and Sheen, so they’re making some changes in Patch 14.12.

First Strike nerfs

First Strike has swiftly become a powerful tool in the Inspiration tree. The keystone rune had its base gold increased by 10, allowing users who efficiently procured it to gather mass amounts of gold.

However, Riot doesn’t want the rune to become too powerful, so they’re nerfing it in Patch 14.12.
