LoL Worlds 2021 details: dates, format, location
Worlds is returning to Europe in 2021. The event was initially due to be held in China, which also hosted the 2020 edition, but Riot has decided to move the competition over fears that not all teams and production staff would be able to attend the tournament because of the country’s tight restrictions and protocols in light of the ongoing global health crisis.
Riot confirmed that Reykjavík will serve as the host for the event. The Icelandic capital hosted the Mid-Season Invitational in May. The event will take place at Laugardalshöll Indoor Sporting Arena
