Riot Games have given fans a sneak-peek into League of Legends patch 9.24, sharing many of the changes they will be making in the upcoming update.
League of Legends’ newest champion, Senna, hit live servers in November. The long-range AD-carry/support hybrid has made her mark on the game by dominating the bottom lane, and it looks like Riot will attempt to put a stop to it.
Lead gameplay designer Mark Yetter and senior champion designer August Browning shared some of their early patch notes, with the newest champion being the key talking point.
“The goal is to nerf Senna in all positions, but hit ADC Senna MORE than support (ADC is 2-3% stronger on preseason patch)” said August, before adding a list of the changes being made.
LoL’s newest champion seems to be taking a big hit, with just about everything about her receiving a nerf. Her health per level is decreased by 10, her passive is nerfed by almost 4% and her abilities are receiving a reduction in either damage or duration.
Senna isn’t the only one facing changes, however, as Ryze, Kassadin, Akali, and Garen are all set for nerfs of their own. Meanwhile, a lengthy buff list means things are looking good for Yuumi, Braum, Karma, Rammus, Amumu, Azir, Corki, and Sivir. In addition, the conqueror and omnistone runes are being changed, as well as the reward for defeating the Rift Herald.

- You are more likely to get Predator when not near enemy champions, and less likely to get it when in combat with nearby enemy champions
- You are more likely to get Dark Harvest when near low health enemy champions
- You are more likely to get Hail of Blades when near low health enemy champions if you’re building AD or ASPD
- You are more likely to get Conqueror when you and enemies are high health. Increased chance if you are melee
- You are more likely to get Fleet if you are low health and below level 9
- You are more likely to get Glacial Augment if you have a glacial item off cooldown
- You are more likely to get Summon Aery when you have healing/shielding power and are near a low health ally who’s in combat
